About the Job

We are expanding our workgroup, and now there is an opportunity to become part of our dedicated team within the Women's Services and Family Accommodation.

We provide housing with support for women and families with children. Those who live with us have support needs due to experiences of violence, mental health issues, or previous dependency problems. As part of our team, you will work together with our users on behalf of the social services in the city of Gothenburg. We offer our users individualized support tailored to each person's needs.

The majority of the work is carried out in the users' home environment. With your ability to work independently and plan, you will be a key person who plans, implements, and follows up on interventions responsibly. As contact staff, you will create an implementation plan together with the users, which is continuously followed up in our journal system Treserva. You will support our users in everything from contacts with authorities and healthcare to managing practical matters such as apartment maintenance and rent payments. We believe in close collaboration with social workers and property managers to create a way forward for the user.

Community at work is important to us, and we expect you to share a common responsibility for the operation. Collaboration and communication, both internally with colleagues and management, as well as externally with social services and other partners, are a natural part of our work. You will be offered further education and methodological support based on MI and LAB.

The working hours involve a schedule of 38.25 hours/week, daytime work, as well as some weekend daytime work and one weekday evening until 7:00 PM. We currently apply a flexible working hours agreement.

Qualifications

Applicants should have at least a two-year YH education focused on social work, or a university degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have experience in social work with individuals who have support needs due to mental health issues or experiences of violence. It is a requirement that you have a B driver's license and are comfortable driving in the role.

Since we work a lot to help individuals move forward and to seek support from various authorities and healthcare providers, we consider it an advantage if you have work experience involving collaboration between authorities and healthcare providers.

You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.

You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without relying on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.

You remain calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure.
